ACCOMPLISHME During my four and a half years with the Beltway Central Network
maintenance team I have participated in various projects. As an example, the
NTS
team recently conducted an intensive push to improve the performance of one
of our most important nodes. Our team was tasked with reducing the impact
of a neighboring systems troublesome node. I was required to work closely
with some of our most distinguished team members, observing processes and
procedures, and applying these skills towards finding a solution. My duties
included answering calls to investigate, diagnose and resolve issues
surrounding this particular node. On occasion, I was given more
responsibility, functioning independently from the core group. I managed to
isolate various root causes for the low performance and repair or remove the
interference. This was a team effort with each member working
independently. Currently, we are in the midst of a new effort to reduce our
impact on the National list of lowest performing nodes. I am much more
confident today with my abilities and I have shown that I can be counted on to
complete each given assignment efficiently and in a timely and professional
manner.
