Squad Leader
Trained and led 9-man teams on conducting numerous war time combat operations leading up Live Fire Exercises resulting in the overall preparedness to deploy anywhere in the word. Trained and led a 5-man Weapons Squad consisting of 2 Crew Serve Machine Gun Teams resulting in the ability to provide cover fire for friendly maneuver elements. Conducted innumerable training events and implemented risk management measures while enforcing safety standards to ensure safe training environments resulting in zero serious incidents.
Recruiter
Conducted Recruiting Operations resulting in enlisting 63 soldiers in a 3-year time period. Accountable for conducting High School visits and presentations every week engaged hundreds of students on a weekly basis. Interviewed prospects and provided career counseling in order to engender commitment in joining the US Army. Conducted required background investigations and gathered necessary records for all applicants to determine eligibility prior to enlistment. Scheduled Academic testing and Medical evaluation at the Military Entrance Processing Station as part of the recruiting process. Conducted initial training to ensure recruits were prepared mentally and physically for Basic Combat Training which helped Soldiers transition into Army life successfully.
Team Leader
Entrusted to work two levels above my pay grade for several months leading a 9-man team as a result of my knowledge, reliability and expertise on the battle field during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Led a 4-man team during a 15-month combat deployment to Iraq which resulted in no serious loss of personnel . Conducted many combat missions in Iraq contributing to the stabilization of the country during peace keeping operations.
