Managed daily dispatch/delivery operations in coordination with two warehouses and dairy facility in the Richmond area.
Responsibilities included working with a driver pool consisting of approximately 225 Teamsters approximately 20 contract carriers and an office staff consisting of 6 dispatchers, 2 supervisors and 6 clerks.
Oversight included two warehouses and dairy warehouse totalling over 120 doors and 1MM+ square feet of warehouse space.
Involved in the P&L planning and setting the budgets as part of the transportation and management team.
Assured that all temperatures of the trailers were regulated properly based on the type of load.
BASS TRANSPORTATION, Flemington, NJ 01/1998-06/2000
Operations Manager
Manager over dispatch handling a total of 72 company drivers and owner-operators in a dry bulk and dry van operation which included plastics, polymers and resins.
Managed all operations out of a single location with distribution across the Continental United States and Canada.
TRUC-WAY, Edison, NJ 01/1995-12/1997
Terminal Manager
Supervised a team of 6 dispatcher, 3 warehouse supervisors, 15 drivers, and 20-25 warehouse workers.
Managed all truckload and LTL warehouse operations including consolidation and distribution for several customers.
Ran three individual sites consisting of over 70 doors and 500K+ square feet of warehouse space.
Oversaw P&L and operating budget of $500,000 including all safety, sales coordination and terminal functions.

Operations Manager
Project Manager of the Air Logistic Operation responsible for coordinator staff, the vendor pool and all outside freight agents.
Oversaw the handling of approximately 150 shipments per day out of the Newark operation and approximately 500 shipments a day through the Newark hub every night.
Responsible for the pick-up and delivery operation and the Newark hub feeding the two break bulk operations including management of 3 supervisors, 10 drivers, and 15 warehouse and airport loaders/unloaders.
Negotiated rates with the airlines, long haul trucking companies in addition to the local vendors, managed the contractor pool and maintenance of the facility and all equipment.
Responsibilities included P&L, coordination of the sales department on all sales calls and customer outings.
Created the international department in the facility to work with international offices in handling all international shipments.
SKYWAY FREIGHT SYSTEMS, Carteret, NJ 09/1991-08/1994
Facility/Logistics Manager
Project Manager of the third party logistics operation of Hewlett Packard for Skyway in Rockaway, NJ for the operation of their distribution center and the routing of all the Hewlett Packard printers and laser jets on the Eastern United States.
