JOB DESCRIPTION
We are Trained to select the proper technical factors based on the ALARA principle. Selects and operates the equipment according to the examination protocols and subsequently transfers images to PACS.
We provides radiation protection in accordance with prescribed safety standards.
and practices sterile techniques to prevent cross contamination.
ensures proper transfer of in patients to their wards in particular the critically ill patients.
Reports timely to the supervisor about any untoward incident either technical or administrative.
Applies the professional code of ethics in all aspects of practice and team work including duty rosters and leave policy.
Performs related duties Morning, Evening, Night and on call duties as required and assigned by supervisor.
Operates computed tomography scanner & Magnetic Resonance Imaging machine effectively for basic routine CT & MRI scan examinations.
Evaluates if patient is prepared for the examination and required lab tests are available. Prepares the room properly for the patient.
Briefs the patient on the nature of the procedure and explains what they will experience during the procedure, ask the help of interpreter if needed.
