The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), is a federal agency within the United States Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) that administers the Medicare program and works in partnership with state governments to administer Medicaid.

Role: Database Architect and Business Analyst (Dec 2013-Current)

Responsibilities:

Database architecture for payment calculation model which is responsible for making over $10MM payments each month.

Data analysis and implementation of data quality check for a big data warehouse which provides monthly payment report and management briefing to CMS.

Design and Build enrolment and payment system which is single source of truth for CMS. (using Oracle PL/SQL).

Build highly secured metadata driven system which ensures data integrity and security.

Leading a team of 13 people (5 PL/SQL developers,2 Business Analyst, 1 DBA, 2 UNIX scripting member and 3 Testers.)
