In addition, my team and I were the finalist of 2 business competitions. Apart from these activities, I have actively participated in 2 internship programs and 1 hononary project. I also worked at National Unversity of Singapore and was tasked with 5 overlapping research projects, lab auditing and lab management, and admistrative works. In addition to good time management, these co-curriculum and research activities have provided me opportunities to work in team and collaborate with people of various background. More importantly, I further honed my communication and interpersonal skills by getting involved in several community service programs such as voluntaring as patient accompanist at Assisi Hospice, Mount Elizabeth Hospital. These experiences have allowed me to develop soft skills which allows me to work effectively as a team leader and coalition member within your group.
Throughout my research experience, I have established a strong professionalism and a core value of integrity. I would describe myself as a spontaneous, organized and dedicated person. Through working in an hospital setup during my internships with Reference Laboratory (United Kingdom) and IMCB (Singapore), I have learnt that one comes with great responsibility on handling clinical samples and fulfilling the project requirements. I strongly believe that the tools and techniques I have learnt would help in my contribution to you and your company. I am a fast learner and a productive individual who sees challenges as opportunities to learn. Therefore, if given the opportunity, I would be most willing to learn anything new from scratch.
