Job Description
• Works closely with all functional groups and guides the team to meet planned goals
• Manages the monthly, quarterly preparation and annual close of the financial statements
• Presents the periodical financial statements and all related management reports.
• Oversees an effective cost accounting process.
• Analyzes monthly financial operations results and identify significant variances and recommend the best feasible course of action as necessary.
• Forecasts operating cash flows and cash requirements.
• Lead role in the revision/procurement of the ERP/Computerized Accounting System in to support the company growth plans.
• Manages the quarterly and annual budgeting process.
• Develops financial policies and procedures to manage, facilitate and support growth, including documentation and communication.
• Oversees and maintains internal controls and systems to effectively protect company assets and insure accurate reporting and financial functions.
• Coordinates annual external audits, inventory observations, ensure compliance to government mandatory reporting.
• Makes policy and reporting recommendations to stay compliant with GAAP/industry guidelines and improve reporting capabilities.
• Leads accounting staff (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cost Accounting, Fixed Assets, and Financial Reporting). Spearheads the development and implementation of process improvements.
• Builds a strong team by developing current team members and thru an efficient staffing structure.
• Acts within scope of authority and consistent with company and corporate objectives, guidelines, policies, and practices.
