Pilot Preferential Bidding System (PBS)

This project provides capability to the AA FOS (Flight Operation System) to handle the preferentially bided awards sent by the PBS system (a proprietary system of AOS Inc.). The existing line bidding process is being phased out of AA FOS system to the PBS system. In the new process, AOS creates Selection lines based on crew member’s preferences and will provide the awarded selection file containing the line details for the next month for each crew member to the AA FOS system. The awarded selection file received by AA FOS is processed and the monthly activities for the crew members are built using the award file received from PBS.
