Graduate Research Study and Thesis – Polar Coding
● Configured a composite channel model for Quantum Key Distribution (QKD), which includes both a hard output quantum channel and a soft output classic channel.
● The Log-Likelihood Ratios aka soft-metrics are derived from two channels are jointly processed at the receiver by exploiting capacity by iteratively decoding block codes (bc) and more specifically polar codes (pc).
● The performance of the proposed pc-based algorithms are studied via simulations as a function of the system parameters.
Computer Network for School Campus using OpNet
● Designed & configured an intelligent network infrastructure for the school campus using OpNet for both Wireless as well as LAN connection.
● The expandable network handles online and offline access as well as security for all the departments. GNS3 based Networking Configuration
● Configured routers switch & network infrastructure using Graphical Network Simulator on the Cisco Internetwork Operating System.
Computer Performance with LMBENCH
● Designed and tested LMBENCH project to perform a series of micro-benchmark* that were intended to measure basic metrics of an operating system and the hardware. (*3 benchmark categories - bandwidth, latency, and clock frequency) Multi-cycle Datapath with 16-bit Instruction in Xilinx ISE (using HDL coding)
● Designed multicycle Datapath for MIPS-Lite ISA using Verilog Hardware Description language using Xilinx ISE tool.
● Validated and created test plan & a functional verification environment for 4-bit ALU and Digital clock.
● Performed deterministic tests using grey box strategy and obtained 99% coverage for designs. FIR Filter (using TMS320C6713 in MATLAB)
● Analyzed and implemented FIR filter.
● Researched architecture of TMS320C6713 processor as well as the characteristics of FIR filters using Digital Starter Kit
