Academic Accomplishments: Bachelor of Science Degree in Guidance and Counselling; Diploma in Teaching Education; Certificate in School Administration and Leadership; Certificate in Train the Trainer Programme; Certificate in counselling and social services and certification in Introduction to database MC Access. I presently completed an 18 months Post Graduate Diploma course in Education and Training at the Vocational Training Development Institute.

Relevant Employment History: Work as a Police for the Island Special Constabulary Force from May 01, 1999 – May 2014. I was transferred into the Jamaica Constabulary Force in May 2014 to present. I was promoted to the rank of Corporal in 2004 then Sergeant in 2008. Duties performed include:

General policing duties from 1999-2001: this include working as an assistant station guard providing customer service to the general public and conducting foot and motor vehicle patrol.

Administration duties 2001–2004: this include processing documents for staff, which takes in typing and filing. Attend meetings, assist with planning of programmes and events.

Judge’s orderly 2004 –2008: this includes providing security protection to high court judges at the Supreme Court.

Instructor at the Police Academy 2008–2011: this include planning and executing lessons to new Police Recruits at Basic Training, planning and implementing assessment exercise for recruits, and assist with graduation exercise planning and executing.

Peer Counsellor at the Mobile 2011-2014: Provide peer counselling service to colleagues as well as their families, assist with planning and executing of psychosocial intervention for colleagues, assist with planning and executing of seminars, workshops and other events for colleagues and their families.

General supervision 2014-present: Work at the Criminal Records Office at Technical Service Division, Police Certificate section where I provide supervision for members. Responsibilities include: ensuring that applicants are processed in regards to their application, fingerprint and collection of Police Certificate. Assist with applicants who have concern in regards to their criminal record and assist with the processing of Police Certificates for collection, conduct background checks on persons who apply for police certificate or otherwise.

Peer Counsellor 2017: Chaplaincy Services Branch assigned to work at the Motorized Patrol Division of the Jamaica Constabulary Force. Duties entail: Provide peer counselling service to colleagues as well as their families, provide grief counselling as well as assist with planning of funerals, assist with planning and executing of psychosocial intervention for colleagues, assist with planning and executing of seminars, workshops and other events for colleagues and their families.

Commendations and Award: I have been commended on three occasions for efficient and dedicated service and was given an award for the most outstanding female Instructor at basic training in 2010.
