ANALYSIS AND OPTIMIZATION OF RECTIFIER FLOW LINE TO IMPROVE PRODUCTIVITY

Duration – 3 month

Project description: IN Robert Bosch generator production line, we work on rectifier flow line which in that line walking time and work holding time is more, To overcome that using line balancing and layout optimization techniques proposed better layout using tools largest candidate rule and value stream mapping, hence our project objective to improve productivity and efficiency of rectifier flow line is successfully achieved.

Achievements

Exhibited a Model of Slider-Crank Mechanism in Royal Innovation and Mechanism Competition held in College during the year 2014-2015.

Participated in the training programme conducted on basics Hydraulic and Pneumatic organized by the VTU-Bosch Rexroth centre of competence in Automobile Technology, Mysore.

Participated one day work shop on ‘modern IC engine’ in our college.

Presented a seminar on ‘self inflating tyres’ in our college.

Exhibited project work on ‘Analysis And Optimization Of Rectifier Flow Line To Improve Productivity’ at Robert Bosch starter motors generators

Completed training on Basics Fire Safety and Emergency preparedness.
