Looking after all project activities including Engineering (if required), Procurement, Construction and Coordination with all other disciplines.

PREVIOUS JOB PROFILE

Testing & commissioning of electrical equipment, which involves EOT cranes, Motors (6.6KV and 415V) and LT (415V) panels.

oTransformer commissioning includes HT cable laying, control wiring checking and testing.

oEOT crane commissioning includes panel erection, cable laying, control wiring checking and testing.

oMotor commissioning includes cable laying, HI-POT/IR test for cables, PI & IR test of motors, winding resistance/inductance test for motors and respective panel testing before no load trial.

Executing the lighting works as per the SLD and Lighting drawings approved by EPCM.

Correction in lighting drawings if any required at site are done after consulting with the EPCM and executed accordingly.

Executing the above grade and below grade earthing works as per the specification and standard mentioned by client in accordance with the drawing and if any correction required are consulted and approved before execution.

Preparing the cable schedule and assigning the feeder details for each equipment as per the site requirement.

Erection of VFD panel and Bus duct in Substation.

Reviewing of the vendor drawings for each electrical items and changes if any required are consulted with the vendor in accordance with client specification.

Responsible for planning and coordinating the Technical and Management aspects of projects.

Overall in charge for NHT/CCR unit to handle all electrical connections involved during construction.

oPeriodic inspection of all temporary connections involved.

oPreparing safety inspection report for all electrical equipment’s involved in the unit along with field safety officer on monthly basis.

In charge of Electrical Quality control and Electrical safety practices during Job execution.

Preparation of Weekly/Monthly Project Status Reports and Change of Orders.

Participating in Client/Contractor meetings and resolving Client/Engineering and Management project issues.

SUCCESSFUL PROJECTS .

Electrical works for NHT/NFU/CCR UNITS for IOCL Refinery.

The electrical works include installation, testing & commissioning of Lighting system, Earthing system, EOT Crane commissioning work, HT/LT (6.6Kv, 415Kv) motor system, VFD Panel System, 415Kv panel system, transformers & battery and UPS system.
