Programmer using PICK Basic/UNIX on a Data General platform for retail applications including POS and inventory control. Involved in design of new programs as well as changing and correcting existing programs. Created new ticketing system to improve inventory control both in warehouse and in the stores. Worked to help create a JIT to be able to ship to stores on an as needed basis to improve

control of what inventory was in the stores and warehouse. Worked will all departments to improve system as needed, designed and then programmed according to specification.

Managed programmers and technology department and internal call center for a catalog fulfillment company. Programmed in PICK Basic/AIX to create a catalog fulfillment program for various clients and types of merchandise. Used system to order inventory,receive inventory into warehouse, fulfill orders taken by phone and via mail orders.
