PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

DIRECTOR OF MARKETING

Built a marketing plan to drive awareness of the business away from the consumer towards enterprise level buyers (realigning product pricing structure from $5-10K to $75-100K).

First campaign exceeded expectations with a response rate that outpaced industry standards. Received phone calls and emails from Fortune 500 company executives (C-level and Senior VP-level) impressed with the unique characteristics and quality of the campaign, leading to the opportunity to pitch the product.

Promoted from Director of Marketing to Vice President of Marketing within 7 months of employment. [NOTE: Served in the VP role only 5 months before going out on medical leave for back surgery following a not-at-fault car accident (now I’m running and doing cartwheels again so it’s time to return to work!). Since the company was running low on funding, they rolled up marketing into sales and eliminated my entire department.]

Designed effective marketing campaigns, differentiated the client from competition, and targeted key market space for multiple clients ranging from retail businesses to a cyber-security company.

Specialized in messaging, positioning, and brand management.

Most recent full-time consultant role was with Autodesk, Inc. as the Senior Manager, Marketing Communications for the Global Subscription and Support division. Launched premier services program targeted towards the most elite 1% of the company customer base (estimated $50M in revenue in the first year and $150M within three years). Created and executed a global sales promotion campaign that was rolled-out within one week of the concept’s inception.

CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER

QuestLink Technology, Inc. (June 2000-February 2001)

Responsible for internal and external communications including development and integration of the corporate communications strategy and plan.

Developed and implemented campaigns for product launch marketing strategies designed to extend brand into new markets, across business units and within existing markets.
