Worked as a lab research assistant at Engineering Research Centre-Structured Organic Particle and Science

(ERC-SOPS) at Rutgers under prof. Fernando Muzzio (September 2014-May 2017) :

Performed experiments on wet granulation using Lodige Cori Mix CM5 to study key performance metrics namely, granule size, flowability and particle morphology of granules as a function of essential input process parameters (liquid content, throughput and rotation speed)

Study on material properties of coarse alumina and fine alumina by liquid addition. Study was done to determine inter and intra moisture content by water pickup method and loss on drying for the catalyst consortium project

Material characterization using FT4 rheometer to study bulk and flow properties of fine and coarse glass beads with different different moisture contents

Understanding the relationship between process parameters and critical quality attributes of tablets produced by batch and continuous granulation for a low-dose formulation

Performed experiments on wet granulation using Lodige Cori Mix CM5 with different formulations to study its effect on granule properties followed by tablet making by the Presstor (tablet press replicator) and dissolution, friability and hardness testing of tablets.
