SUMMARY:

Client:

PLUS, is the cooperative housing for independent supermarket operators in the Netherlands, with a sustainable business as a common goal. It is the supermarket which PLUS Holding B.V. is in the manifests market. PLUS, is a member of Superunie. This purchasing organization represents around 30 percent of the market.

The distribution to the PLUS supermarkets takes place from three regional distribution centers (fast movers groceries) and three rural distribution (fresh, frozen and slow movers groceries).

PLUS Holding B.V. also has a 45 percent stake in Spar Holding B.V. Entrepreneurs cooperative 'Sparrow U.A.'consists of a group of 218 independent entrepreneurs with a total of 262 supermarkets operating under the PLUS formula. In 2015, the PLUS entrepreneurs achieved consumer sales of 2.2 billion euros and a market share of 6.2 percent.

Project:

The project is an integration framework which forms a middleware to enable integration of systems and applications across the enterprise. This project consists of developing interfaces in IBM Itegration Bus v10.0.0.3 with scenarios involving File, xml, Fixed length messages, IDOC’setc.

MB Responsibilities:

Analysis of the functional specifications and Detailed Design Documents for the interfaces.

Installation and Configuration IIB v10.0.0.3, WebSphere MQ v7.5 on windows.

Designing message flows with error handling.

Developed message flow interfaces using WMQ to transform messages between different clients to meet their business needs with the help of IBM Primitive nodes i.e. Compute Node, Filter Node, Route toLabel, Label, ResetContent Descriptor and Database Nodes.

Developed rules and ESQL for message content enrichment .

Developed message flows which done XML/IDOC XML transformations and conversions from one format to another, fixed length (DFDL) to IDOC mappings and transformations.

Created BAR files and deployed them in broker using scripts.

Used Flow debugger to test each message flow while developing.

Preparing Technical Documentation for the developed interfaces.

As of December 31, 2012, the Group had total assets of £75.47 billion and loans and advances to customers of £33.782 billion. The company was founded in 2002. It operates as a subsidiary of Co-operative Group, the UK’s largest consumer co-operative with approximately 7 million customers.

Project:

The IBM Websphere MQ Series and IBM Websphere Message Broker product provides the messaging and networking infrastructure for transporting the transactional messages across geographical locations to diverse business users and also to the operational databases and also providing Secure File Transfer Services Support using Connect Direct Product (Secure FTP) Requests.These products provide a messaging solution for Banks Securities Trade and Asset Management business.
