My name is Alex Johnson, I am a recent graduate from University of Alabama in Huntsville. I received my Bachelors of Science in Supply Chain Management and I am interested in the position of “Warehouse Associate” with your company. With my degree, I wish to enter the world of professional purchasing and logistics management. I believe that fulfilling the duties of this position would be a great first step in gaining experience in this field and my career.
I have fulfilled inventory monitoring obligations as a team lead working for Jimmy John’s. As a team lead, I supported store operations, trained new employees, and helped management process new inventory as it came off of the truck. I believe this experience, mixed with my level of self-motivation would make me a prime candidate for the position. I am also proficient with Microsoft Office Suite programs.
I also have worked as a freelance technical writer, where I have completed projects for multiple small businesses in the Huntsville area. My experience as a technical writer lends to my excellent written and verbal communication skills, giving me a discerning eye for details in instruction.
