Joined the Trucom team to take ownership for the design, maintenance, and operation of the fiber, DWDM, and wireless infrastructure for both internal network and customer networks. Also tasked with the oversight of the deployment and managed services product teams; including hosted PBX services, secured firewall services, multi-site MPLS networks, cloud based productivity services, and datacenter hosting, colocation, and ground-up builds.

Significant projects that were completed during my tenure included the design and build of a custom issue management reporting system on OpenNMS and ORTS (ORTS is a programming environment for studying real-time AI problems such as pathfinding utilizing imperfect information) with the intent of finding the most efficient course of action for resolution of issues. Major projects that were successfully completed include the design of new wireless tower sites based on CISCO products to provide uninterrupted service delivery and reduced support requirements, the design, implementation, and maintenance of an MPLS network for Fidelity (formally Grand Canyon Title Agency), and designed and implemented a multi-site MPLS networks for Hickman Eggs, that encompassed Bullet Proof MPLS Network, Firewalls, and Datacenter Services. The most unique of these projects was the design and development of datacenter that was built inside a mountain. The client was looking for the highest degree of risk mitigation, security, and extreme disaster recovery.

To coincide with the technical controls that are described above, I was also responsible for the development of new security policies to conform to the ISO 27001 framework and the associated processes to implement them. ROTH CAPITAL PARTNERS INFRASTRUCTURE STANDARDIZATION AND IMPROVEMENT, RDMS DEVELOPMENT Contracted to develop and implement a standardization strategy for the company’s corporate and trading floor in order to bring stability to the trading operations. Developed Relational Databases for Human Resources and Trading Operations allowing for real-time monitoring and tracking for traders’ communications and related trades to commission earned. In addition, I designed and implemented and new email storage and retentions system, allowing the migration for the company’s data in-house from a third party email provided, this greatly improved regulatory compliance process reducing document search and production from weeks to hours. Implemented IT infrastructure for an international financial services organization allowing for global expansion, improved service quality, and increased compliance protection and audit. Developed global standards for business continuity and disaster recovery allowing the company to continue operation regardless of an interruption event in any of its locations. GLOBAL CROSSINGS, INC. NETWORKS DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION, PROVISIONING SYSTEM DEVELOPMENT Conceptualized and developed global PPB-TE Network including infrastructure and management allowing a National Telecommunications carrier to expand business offerings and service globally by providing high speed data communications to diverse international locations. Leveraged technology to adapt to the business needs of multiple organizational groups and clients and provided the ability for the client to complete everything from provisioning to incident management. Managed inter carrier relationships to facilitate larger coverage base.

GLOBAL TOUCH MEDIA NETWORK INFRASTRUCTURE, PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT, SERVICE DELIVERY Designed and implemented a global next generation high speed voice and data network, including wireless and VoIP for an International company providing services to emerging nations in Latin America, Caribbean, Asia, and Africa, allowing the company to provide Voice, Data, and IPTV services to a previously underserved population base. This included the implementation of large content distribution network and infrastructure allowing the distribution of content to over 20M perspective customers. Coordinated with various governments and regulation bodies over a diverse global geographic base for the implementation and operating rights and approvals. GREENWOOD AND HALL DEVELOP AND IMPLEMENT NEW BUSINESS DIVISION Created a new division for the national call center company that would utilize its existing infrastructure and capabilities to develop a MSP

(Managed Service Provider) and provide SaaS, focused on Business Continuation, Disaster Recovery, and Outsourced Management Services. Allowing the company to diversify its business offerings and reducing the impact of any one product offering on profitability. AT&T AND QWEST DATA CENTER DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION Built Data Centers for these two international telecommunications carriers in the United States and Europe for the purpose of providing collocation, hosting, and disaster recovery services to clients around the world. Designed Facilities, oversaw construction timelines, selected IT infrastructure and implemented facilities to full turn up.
