Westpac NZ Limited (WNZL) uses WBC Sydney GPP Payment hub to have access to the Swift FIN gateway to send, receive and settle high value NZD payments including both cross-border and domestic same day cleared payments with other NZ banks. As part of emerging compliance issue in relation to RBNZ’s outsourcing policy WNZL has given the RBNZ an undertaking to deploy a domiciled HVT processing hub in New Zealand and add Swift FIN full backup capability. Global Pay Plus-Services platform will be used as the strategic payment processing hub deployed to Auckland data centers and migrate HVT functionality from WBC Sydney to WNZL Auckland. WMB will integrate GPP-SP with WNZL’s Host systems for Enrichment, Account lookup, Forex deal, Balance inquiry, Posting ledger entries, Advising and Feeder channel integration work.
