Education:

1972 - Newfield High School, Centereach, New York 11783 – Completed Career and skilled classes (4yr)

1973 – New York State – Department of Transportation – Training in dump trucks and mobile sweeper

1980 - Deer Park Oil Tanker Truck Training

1982 – Custodial and maintenance mechanic (repair work)

1985 – BOCES plumbing 1 and 2 – Certified certificates

1990 – Tree Services Training– Mobile sweeper, snow removal machines, indoor crown models, maintaining

equipment on roads, all aspects of wood types and lumber removal/transport

Qualifications and Experience:

* U.S. Citizen; stable and consistent worker; lived on Long Island for over 30 years in the same town; family man

* Shipping Manager (day and night routing); supervisor of maintenance and landscaping/grounds keeper

* Outstanding attention to detail and team spirit; maintained the truck or other machines

* Ability to multitask throughout the workday and take on other duties as assigned that are related

* Extensive knowledge and familiarity with various freight carriers and tractor trailer, and shipping

methods, handling routing schedules, and handling money exchange

* Over 10 years in similar work environment but also had maintenance experience (School District)

* Able to read, write and communicate in English; used to communicating to non-English speakers

* Excellent communication skills with sales, customer services, management purchasing in order to

ensure that all outbound shipping requests are promptly addresses (strong problem resolution)

* Accurate and efficient delivery of orders are finalized (including arranging freight carriers)

*Ability to travel up to 100% of the time within NY state or out of state such as PA,NJ,CT (but not over-night stays)

* Valid Class B commercial driver’s license, clean MVR; had Class A in the past few years (but not renewed)

* Over ten years on the road commercial driving and two years of flatbed driving in a variety of traffic & weather

conditions; wish to remain as a local driver and be home each night;

* Maintain and operate all equipment (i.e. hand carts, pallets, load bars and etc.); able to learn quickly on new equip.
