Relevant Projects
Participated in design until completion of the job for electrical power
distribution and generation systems (LV and MV up to 138 kV), and other
electrical systems of counties, cities and residential, commercial,
industrial complexes, and all related facilities.
Some of the projects involved as the electrical engineer were as follows:
. Counties and cities transmission and distribution network including
substations and transmission lines
. Petrochemical plant and refinery, Hydrogen plant, Oil plant, steel
plant
. Iron, copper and coal mines and concentration facilities for these

Summary of Qualifications
. Electrical conceptual, basic, and detailed design including electrical
system calculations (such as load flow and voltage drop, motor starting,
short circuit, arc flash, relay setting, Technical specs, drawings,
RFI, RFP, budget estimation and MTO, for:
- Electrical distribution system (normal and emergency), including
HV/MV/LV substations and all related switchgears/boards, panels,
power centers, MCC's, with the related equipment including protective
relaying, generating stations, transmission lines, area
classification, power factor correction, bare conductor for
transmission line, wiring /cabling and relevant raceways such as
conduit/tray works, manhole, direct burial, indoor / outdoor bus work
- Lighting (indoor/ outdoor)
- Grounding, lightning protection
. Familiar with American standards and codes such as IEEE, NEC, Title Act
24, and IES (for Illumination), and international and European standards
such as IEC, DIN (VDE), and B.S.
. Hands on experience with AutoCAD, Bently, Revit, and similar software,
and worked with PLS CADD

. 2009-present: Self employed, I gave technical consultant on electrical
engineering to engineering companies, also as an electrical engineer
prepared Buy / Sell offers for low power diesel generators, wind
generators, and solar panels.
Substation & transmission line projects:
> Modification and addition of new substations to several substations
in an electrical system containing 69, 33, 11, 4.16 kV, and LV
voltages, generation, and 33 and 11 kV transmission lines and cables
> Modification and addition of new substations to several substations
in an electrical system containing 69, 33, 11, 4.16 kV, and LV
voltages, with 3 sets of 2700 kW and 2 sets of 6300 kW generation,
and 33 and 11 kV transmission lines and cables and electrical system
study
> New Gas conditioning plant with 69/11 kV and 11 kV/ LV substations
and generation system
> Modification of 4.16 kV and LV substations and bus ducts
. 2008: P2S engineering, Inc. - Long Beach, California office, senior
electrical engineer for design of new and modification of the existing
electrical MV and LV panels of oil industry and universities located in
Los Angeles County.

and 69, 33 and 11 kV transmission lines and cables and electrical
system study and relay coordination
. 2007- 08: TECHNIP USA engineering company - Claremont, California office,
senior electrical engineer, as a team leader for design of electrical
systems including 69 kV incoming substation and other MV/LV panels for
expansion of a refinery plants. The company is specialist in Hydrogen and
Petrochemical plants.

. 2006-07: Carollo Engineers-Fountain Valley office-California, senior
electrical engineer. The company is specialist in water and waste water
systems.

> New 4.16/ LV substation
. 2003-06: Engaged in a job other than engineering, meanwhile passed
immigration procedures, passed EIT exam, participated in PE Review course
in Cal State- L.A., and passed PE exam.
. 1995-2001: Electrical engineer, promoted to senior electrical engineer,
in IRITEC-Iran International Engineering Company, an engineering company
in the fields of industrial (heavy industries and petrochemical plants),
including water and water treatment systems and pump stations, and
institutional projects, with joint projects with European (German,
Italian, English, Canadian, and Japanese companies. Performed design
of LV and up to 132 kV substations and electrical panels.

> New 230/63 kV substation (partially), 63/6.6 kV substations, 63 and
6.6 transmission lines and cables
> Review of 400 kV GIS basic design, modification of electrical system
with several 63/6.6 kV, 6.6 kV/LV and 33 kV substations and
addition of new substations to the system with 63 and 6.6 kV cables
> Design review of new 4 sets of 250 MW generators and 33, 11, and 6.6
kV substations
> Design review of 20 kV / LV substations and 20 kV transmission lines
> New 132 / 33 kV substation, and several 33/ 6.6 and /LV substations,
132 kV, 33 kV, and 6.6 kV transmission lines
> And several other transmission lines and substations
. 1994-95: Senior electrical engineer in Band - Ab Engineers-Iran, working
on design of water pipe line, pump station, and water treatment plant and
electrical feasibility study of 20 and 63 kV network for two new cities.
Performed design of 20 and 63 kV substations.

> New 63/20 kV and 20 kV/ LV substations and 110 miles of 63 kV
transmission line
> Feasibility study for several 63/20 kV and 63 kV transmission lines
as the distribution system for two cities
. 1993-94: Electrical engineer in PROBA Engineers-Iran, working on design
of MV/MV and MV/LV substations and transmission lines. Participated in
design of 22 sets of 63 kV substations and 150 miles of 63 kV
transmission lines.
