Jan 2012-Present Contracts Administrator – Jacobs Engineering Group, Long Beach, CA

Sempra Pipeline Safety Enhancement Project – Jacobs Engineering, under contract to Southern California Gas Company, is the Project Management Organization for one of the Gas Company’s largest projects. The Pipeline Safety Enhancement Program consists of pressure testing approximately 360 miles of existing pipelines; replacing approximately 246 miles of the 3,750 mile pipeline system; and upgrading or replacing 173 mainline valves.

• Developed Master Services Agreement templates for engineering subcontractors

• Responsible for negotiating and establishing a variety of engineering and surveying Master Services Agreements.

• Developed subcontracting procedure for the project.

• Developed pre-qualification procedure and templates for subcontractors

• Aided in the vetting and on-boarding of Diverse Business Entity subcontractors

Shell Large Capital Crude Tank Replacement Project – Jacobs Engineering, agent for Shell Oil Products, is to execute the Detailed Engineering, Procurement, and Construction in support of the Martinez, CA refinery. The scope of the Crude Tank Replacement Project included the design and construction (in two phases) of the following above-ground vertical storage tanks: 3 External Floating single deck roof tanks 190 Feet Diameter x 72 Feet Height, 1 External Floating single deck roof tank 115 Feet Diameter x 48 Feet Height

Pre-qualified and assessed multiple potential contractors

• Responsible for negotiating, reviewing, and implementing contracts for a wide variety of construction and support services. Services included geotechnical analysis, inspection, potholing, scaffolding, firewatch, civil work, electrical work, mechanical work, demolition, and the rental of construction trailers.

• Solicited competitive bids, prepared requests for proposal, organized job walks, created bid summaries, evaluated bids, made recommendations to the project regarding award, awarded contracts, and held kickoff meetings at the refinery.

• Conducted field administration duties when necessary.

Shell Small Capital Program – Jacobs Engineering, agent for Equilon Enterprises dba Shell Oil Products US, is to execute the Detailed Engineering, Procurement, and Construction in support of the Martinez, CA refinery for various maintenance projects within the Martinez refinery.

• Pre-qualified and assessed potential contractors.

• Negotiated terms and conditions exceptions to multiple Master Service Agreements with Contractors.

Rio Tinto Minerals Jacobs Engineering, under contract from Rio Tinto Minerals is to provide engineering, procurement and construction management services for Rio Tinto’s borax mine expansion project in Boron, California.

• Pre-qualified and assessed potential contractors.

• Solicited requests for proposal for various construction service contracts including field erected tank, construction trailers, laser scanning, and ground penetrating radar.
