Project Summary:

W e are working on On-line handwriting recognition, which involves source such as paper sources, and touch

screen. It involves the automatic conversion of text as it is written on a touch screens of mobiles where a sensor

picks up the pen-tip movements as well as pen-up/pen-down switching.

The process of online handwriting recognition can be broken down into a few general steps:

Preprocessing: The purpose of preprocessing is to discard irrelevant information in the input data, that can

negatively affect the recognition

Classification: In this step various models are used to map the extracted featur es to different classes and

thus identifying the characters or words the features represent

This Feature is yet to be implemented in smart phones

Tasks involved:

1. Responsible for Analyzing Data, Data Digitization, Data Processing, Content Validation.

2. Responsible for segregating data available and classifying them accordingly and verifying them.

3. Coordinate with QA team for data validation.
