both the Mitutoyo manual CMM and the vision system. The CMM is used to program 3

dimensional parts and the Vision System is used to program 2 dimensional parts. Also used

other mechanical measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers, height gages, pin

gages...etc.

2.) Audit - To inspect finished goods in the assembly area. Also did some torque training for a

couple of years when new lines were ready to begin.

3.) Return Goods - To analyze return components such as oil burners, pumps, motors, controls

and igniters. Coordinated 2 special company projects (Kaizen events) leading toward ISO 9000

certification.

Worked in the sub-assembly area. Assembled parts for the different oil burner lines. Also worked

in the machine room in the housing cell. This is where different machines were used to assemble

the housing used for the oil burners. Machines included were a boring machine, riveter and a drill

press.
