* Initially retained as a Street Maintenance Worker II and

remained in that position for 9 years.

* Promoted to the Public Works Engineering Department as a

Construction Inspector I and ultimately to Construction

Inspector II, with greatly increased responsibility and

accountability.

* Managed multiple projects simultaneously, including capital

improvement, CDBG (Federal Government work), private land

development (city streets, sewers, curbs, lighting,

sidewalks, etc.) and ADA.

* Several duties in execution of project management encompassed

material testing, ground water issues, erosion control,

grading, confined space entry, traffic control, rain water

run off, sewage spills, wet & dry utilities conflicts,

demolition of buildings and compaction.
