to-energy facility within a 225 mgd wastewater treatment plant. Responsibilities include direction
of maintenance and instrumentation on all energy recovery facility equipment, including two
fluidized-bed incinerators, waste heat recovery boilers, wet scrubbers, pneumatic ash handling
systems and power generation equipment all controlled by Westinghouse DCS. Also supervises

30-megawatt geothermal power station. Responsibilities included shift operation of 10 Orinat binary
generating units, geothermal production field consisting of two production wells, and associated
reinjection field containing three reinjection wells. Also supervised operation and maintenance
personnel to ensure plant performance and compliance to state environmental limitations.
