May 2013 to present: Intern for ancillary outpatient and inpatient coding using 3M coding,
Quantim and classification programs.
Hughes/Raytheon:
•September 2011 to April 2012: Wide Area Augmentation System (WAAS). Coding in C for
maintenance of a GPS augmentation system.
•March 2009 through August 2011: Joint Precision Approach and Landing System (JPALS) a
GPS-based landing system. Design (Rhapsody), coding (in C on WindRiver Workbench)
and test (using VectorCAST) for the Shipboard Processing Subsystem. Software
Integration Testing and CSCI testing done in Perl.
•February 2009: FTE: Reconstituted a wiped-out NSM server.
•October 2008 to February 2009: ACCS. Integrated COTS products into the Non-Real Time
system. CA Unicenter NSM, CA BrightStor. Developed the plan to integrate BrightStor
11.5 with Oracle 10.2.
•May 2008 to October 2008: Florida Transportation Enterprise (Highways) (FTE). Worked on
configuring NSM and its agents to monitor the applications.
•February 2008 to May 2008: RayMANET, an ad hoc radio network. Worked on tailoring CPA
work instructions and preliminary design for the NetAlive function. Issues with NetAlive
include Network Data Marshalling and Network Byte Ordering algorithms.
•February 2005 to February 2008: ACCS, an air defense project for NATO. Integrated COTS
products into the Non-Real Time system. CA Unicenter Network System Management
(NSM), CA Software Delivery (SDO), CA BrightStor (backup/restore utility), CA eTrust
Access Control.
•June 2000 to February 2005: FCS and NetFires, directional, ad hoc radio networks.
Programming network control in C++ using the CVS configuration management tool.
•January 2000 to June 2000: STARS, an Air Traffic Control automation system for the FAA.
Maintenance work programming in C for Sun workstations. Supported STARS testing in
Tewksbury Massachusetts.
•June 1999 to January 2000: TracView, an Air Traffic Control automation system. Programmed
in C for HP and Sun workstations. The main concentration was on programming the
flight strip function. Field support in Ho Chi Minh City for two months.
•June 1994 to June 1999: Guardian, an Air Traffic Control automation system. Programmed in C
and Ada for HP workstations. The main concentration was on programming for the flight
strip function. Field support in Jakarta for two months.
•January 1994 to June 1994: Coordinate conversion and communication functions in Ada for an
HP 7000 on Turkiye SHORAD.
•May 1991 to January 1994: Returned to RSRP to work on optimizing the CPU efficiency of the
operational program.
•April 1989 to May 1991: CATRIN/PLRS, translating the PLRS code from CMS-2M to Ada and
rehosting from a UYK-44 and UYK-7 to a MicroVAX.
•March 1986 to April 1989: RSRP, an air defense radar. Was responsible for generating
Electronic Counter Measures (ECM) portion of the software specification and the design,
coding and testing of ECM and the operational program in VAXELN PASCAL for a
MicroVAX.
•1980 to March 1986: Worked on the PLRS team of the PLRS/JTIDS Hybrid (PJH) project. Was
responsible for the design, coding and testing of various areas in the Display Control
Processor, a Univac UYK-20. Team leader for the SDEX conversion team. Was
involved with all aspects of converting the SIM Net Control and Display Control
programs of PLRS from CMS-2 to CMS-2M and converting the executive for the
processors from SDEX/20 to SDEX/M. Final work for PLRS/PJH consisted of design,
coding and testing of changes made to EDM PLRS for Production PLRS and PJH Phase
3.
UC Irvine:
1979 to June 1980: Wrote programs to perform experiments on somatosensory thresholds of
primates. The programs were written in PDP-11 assembly for a PDP-11/03 and ran the
experiments in a real time environment while collecting behavioral data and evoked potentials.
