At CSL Behring, I worked in QAO as a Quality Assurance Specialist I. In this position, it was

part of my daily tasks to investigate deviations, check in a packaging line, verify the correct

batch of medication was being packaged, equipment, and supplies were being used during the

packaging process. I also had to be available for immediate investigations on the line, and

At Caremark, I worked as a Pharmacy Technician in the Prescription Translation Department. I

performed the tasks of entering prescriptions into the computer system from medical offices for

the mail-order pharmacy plan. Some of the prescriptions entered into the computer system were

faxes, and some of the prescriptions required outbound calls to the various doctor offices for

approval for mail-order pharmacy delivery.

Authorization Department. I performed the tasks of working with different medical personnel to

At Northwestern University I was a Research Study Programs Coordinator Sr.. I performed the

daily tasks of coordinating Clinical Trials for Cancer patients with Clinical Research Associates.

This included filling out the appropriate paperwork that is to accompany the samples to their

destination. I also trained other personnel in the different areas of Clinical Trials (including

CRA/CRC's, Quality Assurance Manager, Research Doctors, and other lab personnel). The

training that I conducted included filling out paperwork properly (Requisitions, Material

Submission Forms, etc), making kits for various protocols (appropriate vials for each time point),

processing of samples, shipment of samples (ambient/frozen), and educated Clinical Research

Associates about the specific study that he/she was coordinating. I also answered queries

pertaining to different protocols from either the CRA/CRC, pharmaceutical company, or core

laboratory. As a Sr. Programs Coordinator, I processed various samples that were sent to various

pharmaceutical companies and different core laboratories for analysis. The processes performed

varies from the Isolation of Mononuclear Cells from whole blood samples to separating Plasma

and Serum from whole blood to making smears from whole blood or bone marrow. I also helped

CRA/CRC's prepare for audits with the Pharmaceutical company's sponsor and/or monitor.
