IT Manager:

Lead the IT Team for the development and the implementation of the Hospital

Management Software System. The software was developed in C# using .NET

Environment and MSSQL Server. The software was used by 300 users. The

software managed all the critical parts of the Hospital Management

including Patient Records Management, Billing, Social Security Integration,

Lab Device Integration etc.

Managed the daily operations of the Istanbul Data Center for an

international company that provided secure, enterprise-level IT on a global

scale. Led the 5-member engineering unit in implementing 200 clients'

servers, connecting clients' equipment to Terremark Network for over 15

clients, and performing daily maintenance activities.

Company is a Financial Data Vendor, distributing Istanbul Stock Exchange,

Athens Stock Exchange and International financial data to customers. Foreks

has about 10000 data terminals.

. Wrote the FX2000 software for the client side data terminals.

Founded and led the Software Department. Planned and supervised

projects using latest Software Technologies (Visual Basic, Visual

C++, .NET, C#, Java).

. Designed and implemented the technical infrastructure for data

distribution network. Company receives online data from several

Stock Exchanges, processes them via the company servers, and

broadcasts to customers. VBI (Vertical Blanking Interval) channels

of analog TV Broadcast was the primary medium, later we started to

lease digital channel (128KB/s) from Digiturk.

. Designed and supervised failsafe infrastructure for receiving and

broadcasting of the data.

. Implemented the client software (FX200) which, in and of itself, was

a client server/platform. FX2000 can receive data from a multitude

of sources (VBI, IP, Multicast, Broadcast, UDP) and re-broadcast to

other FX2000s in a multitude of formats. Thus, the software is

capable of working over any network topology. The software also

handles Athens Exchange data, which is in Greek. It can display

broadcast data in Turkish, English and in Greek simultaneously. The

software was originally written in Visual Basic 6.0 and then in C++.

. Managed broadcast data feed that was used for Internet sites of the

company and clients; utilized C++, Java and .NET technologies for

Internet Sites in a fashion to allow clients to use ready -made

components to store data and to also use them for their Internet

Sites.

. Planned and installed the company's and clients' (almost all Stock

Broker companies in Turkey and Greece) network and data centers for

distribution of real-time data.

Customer Services Manager

Located in ?stanbul, managed all the technical operations of the company,

including installations, periodical maintenance, repair shop and

engineering. The department had a total of 65 technical staff at 6 offices

countrywide. The department was organized as a profit center bringing in an

annual income of 1.8 M USD from the maintenance contracts with over 150

clients. The equipment the department was responsible for included: Modems,

Multiplexers, Routers, Bridges, LAN and WAN cards and devices, etc.

Implemented and maintained the first LAN Manager installation in Turkey.

Was the first to implement UTP cabling in Turkey.

Was the first engineer in Turkey to receive a training of UTP and Fiber

Optic cabling from AT&T (Lucent Technology)
