Handled all purchasing and procurement needs for the overseas operations of the Sandesara Groups Biotech, oil
exploration and drilling (British Oil & Gas Exploration and Sterling Global Oil Resources LTD.)A multi-billion dollar
international company. Purchases ranged from corporate planes to large scale oil drilling operations (Iraq and
Nigeria) including but not limited to the oil drilling rig and platform to living quarters for the staff and negotiating oil

Initial responsibility was as purchasing assistant. Eventually was promoted to Purchasing and Procurement
Manager after six months with seven people under my supervision. Main responsibilities were geared towards
handling the procurement of new equipment and spare parts for equipment used in four manufacturing facilities
and MRO purchasing. Worked within a spend budget of 65 million USD. Coordinated with engineering and R&D
for procurement of new machines and automation upgrades. This included machine upgrades and replacement
