Software Engineer

• Extensive Experience in Software Management, Packaging, Virtualization and Deployment.

• Successfully designed and implemented App-V 4.5 environment, by building Virtual Application Servers, Management Servers, Deploying Clients and creating Sequencers.

• Extensive experience as an Application Packager (Install Shield/Wise Package Studio/Softgrid Sequencer), and Deployment engineer (SCCM/ SMS 2003/Novell Zenworks, Altiris), involving all stages from Requirement gathering, Application integration testing, Packaging, QA/UAT and Production.

• Extensive Experience in deploying packaged software applications through SCCM by creating packages, advertisements and target collections.

• Expertise in repackaging applications to MSI for Windows Installer using Installshield and Wise Package Studio.

• Experience on MSI, MST (Transforms), MSM (Merge Modules), MSP (Patches) and MSI database tables etc…

• Experience in virtualising applications using Microsoft APP-V and VMware Thinapp.

• Extensive experience in supporting, Core applications, Critical Market data applications, and various business applications. Primary point of the contact for third level desktop support.

• Overall experience comprises of hardware installations, troubleshooting, Network Designing, Implementation, Testing, Deployments, Software Packaging and Distribution, windows administration and Desktop support.

• Experience in Creating and maintaining Windows7 Enterprise build images.

• Extensive experience in deploying Clients (Advanced and Legacy), managing software packages, software distribution and software metering.

• Extensive experience in packaging, scripting and deploying software to the end users with strict guidelines of global enterprises.

• Experience with Install shield Version 5 though X Professional, Developer, Dev Studio as well as Admin Studio 3.01 though 11.5 and Install shield Multiplatform.

• Experience with Wise Package Studio Professional 3.2/8.0 to automate the installations.

• Experience in using Windows Installer SDK development tools like Orca, Filemon, Regmon, Procmon to work with MSI’s and debugging for package review/cleanup.

• Specialized in writing login scripts, WiseScripts to facilitate routine systems administration such as backup, etc… and other jobs.

• Worked on various Application packages for Windows 9x, Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000, Windows XP and Windows 7.

• Strong communication skills, ability to work individually or as part of a team, hardworking with strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment.
