Professional Experience

LivingSocial Manager of Photography March 2010 - May 2013

Managed a team of up to 15 Photo Editors who were responsible for the daily

review of merchant provided assets, communication and management of

freelance photographers, and research and development of an in-house asset

library from stock sourcing to custom photo shoots. Interacted closely

with all internal operations teams while providing on-brand photo services

to the product and in-house design teams. Strategized and conceptualized

the overall visual aesthetic of photographic content through testing and

researching current trends in the industry.

Accomplishments

Built the team from a team of 1, responsible for the daily output of 75

images per week in 15 markets, to a team of 15 responsible for over 2000

images per week in 200 markets. This includes the development and

implementation of style guides and processes for 7 different product

verticals, with an emphasis on increasing efficiency while not sacrificing

creative quality.

Developed proprietary tools for the management of creative assets by

providing functional and UI/design requirements to and working closely with

the development team.

Built and in-house photography studio that services two product verticals

producing assets for nationally distributed merchants.

Communicated with outside vendors and negotiated contracts with the aid of

the legal and finance teams.

Performed daily teller duties including customer service and managing

customer transactions. Responsible for internal vault procedures,

transaction approvals for Tellers, and assisting the Teller Operations

Specialist with documentation organization and audit preparedness.
