. Senior Network Engineer responsible for design, architecture and

implementation of campus network

. Successful moved campus network for a large flat network to a layer 3

network, this included adding 3 core routers in 3 data centers. During

this change DHCP servers was implemented to support routed networks in

buildings moved off the flat network

. Successful network hardware refresh across campus, this included all

core routers and switches with minimal down time per switch

. Designed and implemented a Disaster Recovery Data Center off campus

. Responsible for 7/24 Data Center on campus

NETWORK ANALYST III 1996-2001

. Responsible for upgrading the network core of the university campus,

which included validation and implementation of design for the

replacement of the infrastructure for 3 disparate campus data centers

. After achieving unprecedented stability at the network core, was

tasked to design and implement the upgrade of hospitals on campus.

Over a 5 month period led team to replace 10 building routers and 200

edge switches comprised of Cisco, 3Com, and Alcatel OmniCore

technologies with next generation Alcatel Omniswitch technologies.

Installations occurred with minimal downtime and no interruption of

hospital services

. Provided ongoing support for the multi-vendor multi-generation

network, insuring stability and implementing functionality spanning a

2 year period for 20,000 nodes and 900 managed network devices
