- Typical work activities - working in well site units, collecting, processing, logging and analyzing

geological samples; evaluating detailed and complex data for signs of oil or gas using various

laboratory techniques; monitoring computer recordings of drillings; interpreting information and

feeding this back to the drilling team to enhance safety and success; operating and maintaining a real-

time computer-based data acquisition system, the advanced logging system (ALS), which records

cutting of the land pre-construction; identified potentially hazardous materials while analyzing core

aircraft engines, fuel and lubrication systems; performing complete aircraft turbo shaft/turboprop

engine repair; prepared aircraft for flight and assisted in handling aircraft on the ground; also flew

as member of the aircrew responsible for performing numerous in-flight duties including in-flight

maintenance of aircraft electrical and mechanical gear; working with pilots to operate and control

aircraft systems; supervised the Line Shop while deployed to Okinawa, J apan; worked in the phase
