EMPLOYMENT
October, 2003 to Present
ECR Technologies Inc. Dublin, Georgia USA
Vice President, Product Development and Technology
Responsibilities include process and product development in biomass/biofuel
energy sector from agro-wastes resources. Worked extensively (Privately and
Govt. Sponsored) R&D programs using heterogeneous catalysis process
performing dilute hydrolysis on solid cellulose biomass materials to break
the polymeric bond structures under mild conditions, and form simple sugars
in an aqueous solution. The process operates on both C5 and C6 cellulose
compounds, i.e., Xylose and Glucose with high yield and efficiency.
Directed and supervised towards start-up and implementing new process
technology in commercial operations for environmentally-friendly biofuel
production. Co-Developed new advanced next generation of heterogeneous and
hybrid micro-electron-catalysis technology for the production of renewable
energy. Co-founded the company and is viewed as one of the leading experts
in developing advanced multifeed stocks biofuel plant processing methods
for new biofuel product development, its chemistry, engineering, biofuel
managing with commercial capital project experience leading to the
development of world's most cost effective and efficient commercial scale
biofuel production and processing plant.
On Corporate level, participate in business to business activities and
client negotiations. Involved with day to day commercial operations and new
venture start-up. Thorough commercial based experience of handling all
types of biomass, agro-wastes, waste sugary beverages, paper fiber wastes
into fuel grade ethanol as well as plant oils including animal tallow,
pine, yellow grease (waste cooking oil) and brown or trap grease into
methyl esters, otherwise defined as biodiesel biofuel. Responsible for data
analysis to determine best setup parameters for pilot and commercialization
efforts. Cost and efficiency improvements on reactive pathways for
maximizing catalysis yield, cost efficiency, reaction speed and other
important chemical parameters.
