PROJECTS:
Thermal Analysis of Surface Mount LED: The objective of the project was to
do the thermal analysis of the surface mount LED mounted on the PCB using
COSMOS. The projects included the creation of LED and assembly of the LED
on the PCB by using Solidworks and decrease the junction temperature of LED
by using the thermal vias. Thermal Analysis was done using COSMOS.
Efficiency of Multi-junction Solar Cell: The objective of this project is
to find and compare the efficiency of multi-junction solar cell in two
cases. In one case the efficiency found by directly taking the reading of
the cell and in the second case cell was placed at focal point of parabolic
dish. Then compare it with the theoretical values.
Design Wheel, Can Crusher & Hand Mixer: Successfully designed the wheels
for Harley Davidson, assembly and animation of the can crusher and the hand
blender which shows the working of them by using Solidworks. Also designed
a Hand Mixer and did the analysis for stresses in static, thermal, motion
analysis, flow and drop test simulations.
Analysis and Optimization of the Shock Absorber Spring in Trains: The
objective of the project was to analyze the stresses on the shock absorber
spring in the trains. The problem involved analysis and optimization of the
spring to determine the maximum stress and optimization of the total spring
mass. The design was done using ProE and all the analysis and calculations
were performed using ProMechanica.
Research on Thermal Interface Materials: Did research on the working &
characteristics of the thermal interface materials used in electronics
packaging. This also involved the methods used to characterize them.
Technical software: ProE, Solid Works, MS Office, COSMOS, ProMechanica,
AutoCAD
