EXPERIENCE:
Energy Sciences Inc.
Wilmington, MA
Electrical Engineer/Designer/Drafter
03/2012-Present
. Collaborate with designers and engineers to create schematics from
verbal instructions, notes, layouts, and/or sketches.
. Design custom Electron Beam systems schematics that showed PLC
I/O, AC distribution, PCB layouts and connections, customer's
custom options and interface wiring between ESI's sub-systems as
well as the customer's press interface signals.
. Systems design also included wire lists for all electrical
enclosures, High Voltage Power Supply and customer installation
Power & Signal interface wire list. All schematics, wire lists and
notes were given on a timely fashion to ESI's vendor to custom
build the Electron Beam Electrical Enclosures.
. Work with Pro-Engineer Electrical as well as AutoCAD Electrical to
draft PLC based control schematics, wire lists and electrical
components panel layouts.
. Create new designs and modify existing designs to develop/improve
system products, facilitate manufacturing and streamline the
machine assembly process.
. Design cables by visual inspection that were used to interconnect
customer press line electrical equipments. The work includes
selecting the wire sizes, connector types, fabrication drawing and
creating an interconnect wire run list.
. Create and perform component testing to verify if parts/assemblies
meet specification.
. Create schematics from existing equipment by visual inspection and
identifying commercial components.
. Specify components from vendor catalogs and incorporated them into
system design.
. During system built/test phases, worked closely with assembly/test
technicians to update any schematics and wire lists markups of the
systems original documentations.
. Create customer deviation reports for systems already running at
the customer's site.
. Perform engineering ECN's (Engineering Change Notice) and CAR's
(Corrective/Preventative Action Reports) for system improvements
and updates.
. Support the electrical engineering department by checking
schematics, wire lists and drawings of other electrical and
mechanical engineers.
. Modify detailed drawings using Pro-Engineer (3D-Mechanical) for
the manufacture of electrical assemblies and components.
. Gain a working knowledge and understanding of wiring practices,
AC/DC circuits, and electrical codes.
. Demonstrate design and drafting skills with a working knowledge of
electrical design and circuitry.
. Establish an understanding of electro-mechanical machine control &
electrical components
Test/Field Service Engineer
03/2007-03/2012
. Responsibilities included working with manufacturing, installation
and servicing of ESI's cutting edge Electron Beam systems.
. Set up, adjusted and operated standard and custom-built electronic
test instruments to measure performance of e-beam processor and
sub assemblies.
. Calibrated circuits, recorded test data and troubleshooted
electronic circuits from schematics and sub-systems.
. Assembled and repaired mechanical and electrical components.
. Troubleshooted electrical and electronic component level
equipments.
. Worked with PLC's Alan Bradley and Siemens, 95kV-300kV High
Voltage Power Supplies, roughing and cryogenic pumps and high
vacuum systems.
. Identified and recorded successful ISO and quality initiatives,
improvements and potential deficiencies.
. Maintained up-to-date knowledge of ISO-9000 directives and ESI's
quality procedures.
. Trained customers and provided on-site diagnostic malfunctions.
. Trained and supervised new employees.

business and individual customers.
. Bought and sold foreign currency, traveler's checks and monitored
incoming cash shipments.
. Handled large cash orders from companies and filled out their
currency transaction reports.
. Trained and supervised tellers.

Test Technician - Co-op 05/2000-
12/2000
. Responsible for executing the process of testing and diagnosing
printed circuit boards and systems.
. Analyzed, implemented and tested corrective actions against
failures and high level proficiency in algorithms.
. Executed projects involving pipelined ELC, micro-programmed
controllers, high digital instruments, microwave technology,
microprocessors and digital signal processing.
