headquarters as a Personnel Specialist for newly arrived and
replacement officers. I did a television commercial for the Army
in Saigon to encourage individuals to re-enlist. Upon my return
to the United States I worked for General Westmoreland as his
administrative assistant in the Pentagon. I have an honorable
discharge and received the Bronze Star Medal for meritorious
service and climbed through the rank of Staff Sergeant E-6.
