Consultant 03/08 to Present

. Bank of America - 1 year of working in a Captiva Administrator role in

order to support all of the existing applications. Supported end-

users, developers and the QA staff with all Capture related issues.

Deployed software and modified configuration files for multiple QA

environments as well as Production. Inspected the Production

environment daily (which contained more than 330 servers), ensured

that all IA Servers and all of the module servers and their services

were running as expected. Monitored and reprocessed batches when they

failed and reported on any issues discovered. Monitored and

controlled the flow of batches into the system as necessary. Worked on

and resolved issues assigned to Capture Administrators via problem

tracking systems such as Maximo and the HP QC module. Executed smoke

tests as required as part of deployments and other maintenance

activities.

. Texas Workforce Commission - 1 year working along with 4 other

developers and 2 QA resources. Upgraded all processes and programs to

the latest EMC Captiva versions (from 5.X to 6.X). This included

FormWare, InputAccel, Dispatcher and eInput modules. Supported custom

functionality for complex editing functionality on two applications

that were very high volume and critical (Unemployment Insurance and

Wage Records). Supported custom functionality using FileNet objects to

update the image repository. Performed System Integration testing as

applications were upgraded and unit tested.

. American General and Blue Cross Blue Shield Idaho - provided support

and customization to the Captiva Claimpack application (Medical/Dental

insurance claim forms).

. Bank of America - over 3 years working in a Developer role both

updating several large processes (IPPs) as well as a custom VB Index

application utilizing the InputAccel SDK and PIXTOOLS image tools.

Maintained a VB custom DLL for "Opening Batches" utilizing an Oracle

database instead of the default IA batch selection screen. Created and

implemented a .NET (C#) service that interfaced with Oracle and IA

batches that confirmed whether batches were ready to be processed

through the system. These applications supported over 70,000 batches

a day and approximately 300 remote indexers for classifying and

indexing Mortgage Loan Documents.

. Over 9 years of experience with data and image capture applications

using a variety of EMC Captiva products including FormWare (File Based

and Database versions), FormWare for InputAccel compatibility modules,

InputAccel, and Dispatcher for InputAccel. Prior to that, have 3

years experience with document imaging, image retrieval, image

printing and fax imaging using user-written applications in Visual

Basic and C and utilizing off-the-shelf products. Also have 5 years

experience with Recognition Equipment, Incorporated developing

applications on the Tartan Data Entry System.

. Provided technical expertise and developed application for both end

users and integrators using appropriate modules in workflow based data

capture software. These services were provided to customers at their

specific locations as required and remotely from my home based office.

Used a combination of modules from 3 basic product groups that

EMC Captiva sold.

. Gathered requirements, created both Functional Requirement and Detail

Specification documents as required. Performed unit, integration and

acceptance testing as required.

. Performed end-user training and knowledge transfer to customers. Most

of this was performed as part of the acceptance testing activities,

but also taught in a formal classroom setting.

. Worked with Insurance, Medical Claim Form (HCFA, UB92, Dental)

processing using FormWare and FormWare for InputAccel. Extensive

experience with FormWare Completion module where complicated edits,

ODBC validation and population of data was performed. Validations

involving address and Post Office ZIP Code verification as well as

Claim Balancing (both batch and interactive) functionality.

Requirements included validating, retrieving and populating

eligibility information when processing Medical Claims. Light

experience with Registration, Enhancement, OCR tuning, and forms

design. Image and Index Data Export module configuration and

implementation was always included in these applications.

. Worked with State Agencies - Quarterly Wage Earning reporting. Used a

variety of products and their related modules to design, configure and

implement these applications.

. Worked with Petroleum, Wine & Spirits and other industries' Accounts

Payable and Accounts Receivable Invoice processing applications

including Classification (for Vendor assignment) and Validation for

capturing data. These customers were implementing applications using

the IA for Invoices product from EMC Captiva.

. Worked with Investment and Financial Institutions, Mortgage Loan,

Returned Mail, and Credit Card Dispute image and data capture

solutions. These applications utilized InputAccel, Dispatcher for

InputAccel and Visual Basic for creating DLL's for Scanning and

Indexing.
