Responsible for executing test scripts on a new version of Hewlett Packard

Service Manager. Updated training materials and job aids for the new

version of HPSM using Microsoft Word and PowerPoint along with Snag-It.

Wrote new sections of the documentation to reflect the changes from HPSM

7.11 to 9.3. Consulted with module owners to obtain information needed for

the updates. Assisted with creating a What's New training deck for

Technical Writer

Final edits and revisions were done on mortgage residential and business

loan bank operations documentation using Microsoft Word. Worked with

Subject Matter Experts in obtaining the information for the documents and

on the revisions. Created process maps using Visio in the documents.

Verizon Wireless, Basking Ridge, NJ

Project Coordinator 2011 - 2012

Proactively tracked project needs related to schedules, procurement,

manpower and business needs for the rollout of the $2 million new time

system for 2000 Verizon Wireless Retail stores. The time system was a

mobile application created within Kronos. The mobile application was on

cell phone and tablet platforms. Extensively used Excel and Access to

extract and compare data using pivot tables and charts for calculations and

presentations. Metrics tracking and reporting was done for project progress

and completion. PowerPoint presentations were created on the features for

upper executive management meetings. Developed test cases and executed

them once the applications were ready for use. Worked closely with the

Project Managers in creating training materials and store policy

guidelines. Managed execution of reports creation within Kronos for retail

stores. Worked with Test, Information Technology group and leads in

creating documents for process and procedures on the flow of information in

the time system. Established procedures for shipping the tablets to the

Software Quality Assurance 2011- 2011

Executed user and functional testing of firmware on Analog and Digital

Keyboard, Video and Mouse (KVM) appliances. Hardware tested OEM KVM for

cost reduction of current analog KVM. Setup DSView, the software management

program, for testing. Designed networks to test products using KVM

switches, servers and routers. Reported any product defects in the defect

tracking system and worked with engineers to analyze defects. Used a

variety of test equipment including digital Protocol Analyzer and Network

NASA, Marshall Space Flight Center, Huntsville, AL 2007 - 2011

Sr. Technical Writer

Provided document services to the various applications and website groups.

Documents included Project Proposals, Product Specifications, Help and

Instructional documentation for software, and Frequently Asked Questions

sections. Coordinated meetings with NASA project owners, managers, software

developers and team members for collaboration of input. Word and Adobe

documentation, web page content (in Drupal), PowerPoint presentations and

classroom instruction materials were created. Utilized NASA specifications

when producing documents. Multimedia was included on the web pages and

PowerPoint presentations that included audio and video. Research and

analysis was done on data and materials to include in the documentation.

Documents were reviewed in meetings, emails, teleconferences or having a

group section in ExplorNet (the social media web page). Historically

archived final products to SharePoint, backing them up on tape, CD's, DVD's

or hardcopy depending on the media type. Created meeting minutes for group

meetings. Brochures, handouts and poster board materials were designed for

the Technology Fair. Compiled and ran a report macro in the Application

Work Management System in Remedy to provide data for the weekly and monthly

System Information Analyst

Tested new software features by creating new test cases, executing them and

providing test summary reports to application owners. Regression testing

was also completed. Standardized and streamlined processes and integrated

hundreds of NASA resources from non-standard account management

applications into the NASA Account Management System (NAMS), in support of

Homeland Security Presidential Decree 12 (HSPD-12). Migration point of

contact with Resource Owners, Provisioners, Approvers and Users who are

outside vendors and internal customers. Compiled user system desires and

created documented requirements for developers to utilize for programming.

Created, documented, and lead User Acceptance test plans and testing to

ensure that account management functionality for key NASA systems migrated

flawlessly. Provided training to users that were unfamiliar with the

system. Produced Test Summaries in Excel and upload them to SharePoint.

Used Softerra LDAP to view and analyze LDAP directories verifying that the

information contained in the directories was correct. Assisted end users

with problems on NASA's ExplorNet, which is their social media network by

responding to trouble tickets. Resolved problems within the metrics

allowed for the tickets.

Jackson Hewitt Technology, Sarasota, FL 2001-2005

Software Test/ Business Analyst

Executed functional, user interface and regression tests on the Jackson

Hewitt tax software that was updated yearly for the franchisees. Interfaced

with state revenue departments to gather information on new tax laws.

Compiled information into documentation for developers to utilize in

program updates. Revised test cases per the new tax laws that were used as

Operational Requirements. Tracked all product defects in a defect tracking

system. Achieved 150% (the highest amount) of the stated bonus for the

technology department in the State Department. Used customized statistical

web based tools to watch for changes to the test cases and test data.

Created a tool to analyze data from the company statistical web based

program. Served on a task force to create new testing methodologies to

make testing more efficient. Assisted in job share opportunities to help

Supported firmware development through functional testing. Designed and

implemented automated testing of regression tests using Visual Basic and

C++ scripting. Designed networks to test products using ATM switches,

routers and a voice over ATM gateway. Tested a variety of product types

that included ATM, DSL, Frame Relay and Analog modems. Developed and

updated the system test web page using Net Object Fusion. Produced and

Customer Support Analyst

CGS was IBM's nationwide computer help desk for corporate and contractual

PC support. Assisted the end user on personal computers with software and

hardware problems on both Windows and Macintosh platforms. Support

included both operating systems. Application software support included

Engineering Assistant

Assisted in the development of a Multi-Intel processor based system

including wire wrap of prototype boards. Laid out all printed circuit

boards using HiWire II PCB/CAD a schematic capture application. Entered all

schematics and checked net lists. Programmed firmware and researched

components as required by U.L. and Bellcore. Diagnosed and repaired circuit

boards using a Fluke 9010 Microprocessor tester and a Tektronix 9100

Digital Analysis System plus other diagnostic tools. Interfaced with

supported trial of SS7 monitoring system. Ran daily maintenance scripts to
