SPD TECHNICIAN, Roswell Georgia
Provide medical and surgical supplies to appropriate hospital departments.
Each department may be comprised of specialty clinics. Continually
exercising departmental and personal awareness of the relative cost for
various items used to help save money.
1. Maintain records on the use, issuance, stock levels, and maintenance
of equipment.
2. Assembles and loads ward and operating room carts according to
schedules, and fills special and emergency request for supplies.
3. Storage and issuing duties consist of labeling items to show date of
sterilization and shelf-life; and storing the items in such a way as
to preserve the sterile condition. Fills requests for items based on
daily schedules of needs or on individual requisitions.
WAREHOUSEMAN 2009-2011
ITT SYSTEMS, Afghanistan
Work in the SSA warehouse, responsibilities include but are not limited to
operating a forklift, receive, issue, store, and turn-in items and
equipment. Utilize the SARSS system to perform all duties. Request,
receive, and issue repair parts and supplies in support of maintenance
operations. Prepared shipments and used RFID tags for tracking.
4. Operate Material Handling Equipment reference applicable regulations
and procedures of Certification.
5. Responsible for processing Material Requisitions in Central Receiving
using SARSS and assisting Stock Clerks with selecting items for issue.
6. Participate in receiving turn-in of items from units.
7. Perform unloading and loading of equipment from incoming shipment.
8. Transport/stock equipment according to assigned warehouse locations.
9. Provide customer service.
GENERATOR MECHANIC 2007-2009
AGS AECOM, Afghanistan
Duties included maintenance repairs and scheduled services on generators at
the direct support and general support level. Responsible performing
preventative maintenance and for ordering and receiving service and
replacement parts, coordinating generators and fuel tanks and inspecting
and maintaining fuel tanks along with fuel distribution and records.
10. Diagnosed and effectively repaired diesel powered generator sets with
the use of schematics and wiring diagrams; as well other technical
manuals.
11. Repair and replace fuel supply pumps, alternators and starters.
12. Replace seals, shaft sealing rings, voltage adjust switches and
current controls.
13. Prepare log books, operating reports, malfunction reports, supply and
maintenance records; order and maintain the inventory for all
generators and all associated maintenance paperwork.
14. Formulated and maintained programs and guidelines aimed towards
detecting and reducing wastes and related unnecessary costs.
POWER GENERATION MECHANIC 2004-
2007
FORT STEWART, GA & IRAQ
Accountable for the daily operations, inspection and service of more than
$800,000 worth of equipment and tools. Appointed the Senior Generator
Mechanic within the battalion motor pool and given the responsibility of
supervising and training soldiers. Provided general and direct level
maintenance support for both Environmental Control Units and generators.
1. Effectively set up and managed generator operations for field training
exercises and conducted company level CTT training and testing;
instructing both peers and subordinates in tactical and technical
skills.
2. Performed Quality inspections on generators and air conditioning
units, also responsible for compiling, recording and scheduling
maintenance for all power generation equipment for the motor pool.
3. Sustained equipment readiness rate at 98%, above the Army's standard
of 90%.
POWER GENERATION APPRENTICE
2002-2003
FORT STEWART, GA & IRAQ
Responsible for maintaining all generators and electrical power equipment
for all DoD facilities. Inspect, service and repair or arrange for repair
of all generators which support all DoD units / activities. Performs PMCS
services and maintains service and maintenance records on all generators;
also performed maintenance on gasoline/diesel generators 3KW and up.
4. Used US Army Technical manuals along with reading wiring diagrams and
schematics to determine the extent of repairs and replace worn or
damaged parts such as but not limited to; seals, fuel injectors/pumps,
starter solenoids and belts.
5. Diagnosed and performed accurately all phases of vehicle repair.
Removed, cleaned, repaired, reinstalled and adjusted all vehicle
components.
