EDUCATION

The University Of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) May 2012

Masters in Civil Engineering – (Transportation Engineering) Overall GPA: 3.71/4.0

Y. C. College of Engineering (Nagpur University, India) May

2007

Bachelor in Civil Engineering Overall GPA: 3.33/4.0

Academic Projects and Thesis related to Civil Engineering:

Master’s Thesis: “Carrier Collaborative Network: Hybrid Hub-Location and Algorithm”.

With the assistance of my advisor Dr. Salvador Hernandez, we successfully developed a mathematical model to optimize the network route and

provide the appropriate location of a Hub selected in a set of nodes (cities and/or facilities); by using Centralized Carrier Collaborative and

Multi-Hub Location Problem. I ran comprehensive analysis to the approved working model; by comparing my formulation with two different

methods of optimizing tools (Algorithms). I used GAMS and C++ to solve the model using Lagrangian Relaxation Method; then compared the

results to those obtained from solving the model using Genetic Algorithm; which was coded in MATLAB.
