Duties include:
Physician Support:
- Assist more than 20 Physicians on a daily basis with giving out medication orders and
treatment per Triage protocols
- Review medical reports obtained and notify physicians or nurse practitioners
depending on severity of results.
-Answering phone calls from doctors to facility nurses, mortuaries, pharmacies and
family members along with patching calls through the office.
-Notify physicians with admissions on a daily basis
-Responsible for obtaining medical records on new admissions and filing of medical
reports and information for data and system update.
-Assisting with Death Certificates which include coordinating with medical records and
providing accurate information to our providers and filling out paperwork
Other duties include the following:
-Management and control of weekly conference calls that require coordination with several medical groups, case managers and physicians
-Prepare monthly schedule for providers for the after-hours on call that requires coordinating and arranging days of coverage and availability.
