Projects

2013 Multiple objects tracking

This project aims to track the moving objects in a video stream based on C++ with

OpenCV library. By tracking the objects to analyze the objects' features. For example,

the program is supposed to give some color or contour features so that it will recognize

what the objects are.

2012 Hand gesture recognition

This project is based on C++ with OpenCV library. It is able to detect and recognize hand

gestures through the webcam. It can segment hand out of the background and track the hand.

Then, it can recognize the hand gestures and do some certain actions.

2012 Secure online shopping system

I built the LAMP environment to support the website run on it. Also, apply HTTPS and SSL on

the web site to make it secure. Besides, using secure coding skills, such as sessions, to enhance

the security so that it would prevent the session injection or page jumping problems. By using

CSS and div skills, I make the layout as proper as possible. Also, some JavaScript is also used to

check the validation for some forms. PHP and HTML are the main parts of the whole web site

design.

2010 Web chatting system

I used Java swing build the UI and implemented basic functions. Using socket programming

skills to send message to the person who is on the other side. By using different id to distinguish

the messages belong to whom.

2010 Logistics system

This project was based on LAMP. I built not only the system itself but also some common

services in, like sendmail service, DNS service, and some other services. Also, by using SQL to

manage the data in the database. Also, CSS and div are the skills to control the web page

layout. HTML, PHP, and JavaScript are mainly used to build the dynamic web pages.
