Negotiated product content and developed test plans to meet customer requirements. Provided day to

day direction to product team on how to develop design to meet customer requirements. Schedule and

• VAVE - Work with Ford electrical group on cost saving initiative to switch from electrical pigtails on

airbag module to direct connect from the vehicle harness.

• Led international team consisting of members from Isuzu Japan, KSS Mexico, Thailand and United

States. Successfully designed driver airbag modules for 2003 Isuzu I-190 pickup truck for the Asian

market and 2003 Isuzu Rodeo for the U.S. market.

• Build prototypes and develop 3D CATIA models and product drawings.

• Develop test plans and DFMEA. Perform static and dynamic vehicle crash tests. Analyze test data,

write test reports.

• Managed suppliers of injection molded components, stamped steel parts, airbag fabric and

pyrotechnic and hybrid gas generators.

• Led team that designed Roof Rail(curtain) Airbag for General motors’ Vehicles the 2005 Chevrolet

cobalt and the 2007 Saturn Aura

First Engineer to utilize KSS cold gas inflator and uncoated one piece woven cushion

technologies on a curtain airbag program that would be installed on 100% of vehicles on

customer’s platform.
