Supervisor Immunohistochemistry / Renal Pathology Technologist
Evaluate and gross renal biopsies and other specimens for IF /IHC and Electron Microscopy.
Provide Microtomy and Ultramicronomy and detect the appropriate cellular structure of the
kidney.
Provide an array of services within the Immunohistological field such as harvesting cases to
initialize the IHC process.
Reviewing test requisitions as well as gathering pertinent information, in accordance to HIPPA
regulations.
Work under minimum supervision, in addition to having the ability to work with a consortium.
Closely monitor the daily inventory and purchased reagents Antibodies for future use.
Responsible for cutting all recuts and various requests given by the Pathologist to enhance an
accurate diagnosis.
Manage all resection slides request and various special stains as per the Pathologist.
Utilize various time-managing techniques to expedite all cases in an optimal manner.
Titrate and dilute all Antibodies entering the laboratory.
Validate all antibodies, in accordance to NY state rules and regulations.
