I was hired as a contractor to update operator line package manuals. This

entailed reviewing engineering deviations and revising Excel documents

along with 2d and 3d AutoCAD tool drawings. The line pack manuals have the

necessary information to produce the profile materials to construct

Andersen fiberglass doors and windows. I completed the project and was

asked to do several more projects including work instruction; material

inventory spread sheets, quick change tooling designs, resin pump cart

design, and simplifying and illustrating the correct method of stringing

the line by a color code and numbering system.

I was responsible for the design and revisions to shop drawings and

fabrication drawings for commercial curtain wall, store front and wall

panel systems. This included creating cut list in Excel, quote packages,

selecting systems and glass for submittal packages per contract

specifications. I went on site to get field measurements for fabrication

drawings. I also made brake metal drawings, dead load, wind load and mid

span anchor drawings using AutoCAD 2009. I made sure Project Assistants and

site Foremen had everything they needed and direction to insure projects

were on schedule. I met with Architects and Building Supervisors to resolve

any production and design issues. I would also figure and quote any

additional work not in the original scope of the contract.

I was responsible for the design and revisions to staircases, guardrail and

hand rails for steel structure buildings. This included creating shop

drawings and bill of materials using AutoCAD 2006.

Delphi - Packard Electric Systems

I had the responsibility for designing inspection gages and fixtures for

divisional quality engineering, this involved designing inspection tools

and fixtures for all new and existing components. I also determined what

gage checks are performed on all Delphi Packard Electric System components

and assemblies. This includes: metal stamped parts, computer modules,

insert molded components, electrical centers, ignition products and some

medical devices. I accomplished this by evaluating component part drawings

and selecting existing gages to the components standards or designing new

gages to the tolerances established by component design engineering. I also

served as the Quality Control Specification Coordinator for internally

produced plastic components. I authored and revise quality control

specifications. I also authored work instructions to QS9000 standards. I

developed effective computer skills that include daily use of AutoCAD 2004,

Microsoft Word, Windows XP Professional, Adobe Photo deluxe, and Kodak

Imaging, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Net Meeting, and EDS data base

information systems.
