• Determining required equipment and welding method to complete assignments, applying knowledge of metallurgy, geometry, and welding techniques.
• Heated, form, and dresses metal parts, using hand tools, torch, or arc welding equipment.
• Laying out, positioning, and securing parts and assemblies according to specifications on assignments, using straightedge, combination square, calipers, and ruler.
• Removal of rough spots from work piece, using portable grinder, hand file, or scraper.
• Performed all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.
