Work experience
August 2011 - Current – Maintenance Manger and Chief
Engineer. Responsible for implementing full PM system, hiring
qualified technicians and completely turning around a failing
plant. Implemented improved documentation, balanced workload
between shifts, designed and implement numerous machine
improvements. Designed electrical control and programmed Allen
Bradley plc and HMI for waste water facility. Designed electrical
controls and programmed Omron Plc for chemical distribution
system.
J July 1996 – July 2011 Self Employed. Moved Florida for family
reasons. Purchased 13 investment properties. Refurbished, rented, and
managed. Obtained Real Estate License. Purchased and operated a couple
of small businesses with family.
January 1993 – June 1996 Ontrak Systems, Inc. – Startup
company. Electrical/Software designer/manager. Designed all
electronics and software for original Ontrak Semiconductor
cleaner. Highly automated with external data interfaces. Robotics,
GUI interface, multi-tasking OS. Hold 3 software patents. All
programming in ‘C’ and assembly language.
Ontrak was a very successful company and went public in 1995. Was purchased
by Lam research in 1996.
April 1988 – December 1992. Consultech Systems – Owner.
Consultant to Clorox Corporation and Ontrak Systems.
Responsible for all PLC system design and programming for
Clorox contract packaging facility in Greenville, SC. Created
original electrical design and software for Ontrak system.
August 1979 – March 1988 Monsanto Electronic Materials
Company
8 Maintenance/design Engineer. Designed many machine improvements
and assisted with complex troubleshooting issues. An expert with Gould
Modicon PLC controllers. ** Monsanto Electronic Materials
Company ‘1985’ award for most innovative design and cost
savings for all new electronics and software for machine
cutting silicon wafers. Auto Calibration and auto recovery
software and electronic improvements saved more than $2
million dollars a year in wasted product and increased
productivity by more than 10%.
March 1972 – August 1979 Proctor and Gamble – Electronic
technician, controls designer. An expert with Reliance PLC programming
and troubleshooting. Microcontroller, analog, digital. Motor controls both
AC and DC up to 200 hp, temperature controls. This was a pampers diaper
facility and all my work was on high speed paper processing, packaging
and
sophisticated conveyor networks.

was a continuing education program that lasted for over 6
