CAREER SYNOPSIS

I have five years of experience in a broad range of design activities on

different EPC projects as an Instrumentation and Control Systems engineer.

Having worked on technically diverse projects and different phases has

enriched my experience and given me the opportunity to learn a lot during a

very short time period. In addition to technical knowledge my skill set

also includes effective project management skills, team management,

covering different phases of activity planning and execution. My aim is to

establish myself as a dedicated and skilled professional, earning respect

from my colleagues due to my strong technical skills and professional

1 Instrumentation and Control Engineer

2 Initially set-up as a joint venture between Japan Gas Corporation of

Yokohama, Japan and Descon Engineering of Pakistan for carrying out

engineering part of oil and gas related EPC projects but was recently

established as an independent entity in the name of Descon Integrated

Projects with the aim to independently execute EPC projects.

. Pearl Gas-To-Liquid Project, Qatar Shell GTL

Ras Laffan, Qatar

I worked on the design / procurement activities related to

Instrumentation and Control system for Pearl GTL project. JGC's scope

included the main Gas to Liquid conversion area. The project gave me

international exposure and allowed me to greatly develop my technical

expertise.

. Fatima Fertilizer Ammonia Plant

Rahim Yar Khan, Pakistan

I worked on the design of the instrumentation part of the plant.

Fatima Fertilizer complex is the biggest fertilizer complex in Pakistan.

This being a revamp project presented unique challenges which greatly

enhanced my technical skills and taught me how to tackle difficult design

challenges, working around different physical/budgetary constraints.

. Jubail Export Refinery EPC Bidding Work

Jubail, Saudi Arabia

I was involved in the instrumentation pre-bid estimation work. JGC

placed its bid for EPC work of Jubail Export Refinery, a joint venture

between Saudi Aramco and TOTAL. The project gave me exposure to Saudi

Aramco standards and gave me a good feel of instrumentation related pre-

bidding activities.

. Pearl Gas-To-Liquid Project, Project Field Engineering Work

Ras Laffan, Qatar

I worked as a field engineer at on Pearl GTL project in Raslaffan,

Qatar. This helped me in improving my technical skills especially for the

design phase using knowledge of practical problems faced at site and

applying them in improving my design skills.
